New Year’s Special for Beginners!

To get new climber’s off the ground in 2012, we’re offering a fully loaded New Year’s experience! New climbers that sign up for the Introduction to Rock Climbing course will not only enjoy a free day of climbing after the class and a complimentary two-week Boston Rock Gym membership; but, for a limited time, will also receive another FREE two-and-a-half hour technique class with BRG’s Nuschool. The Nuschool course is an intimate, two and a half hour session that teaches the holds and sequences that will allow climbers to reach new heights in their climbing experience.

The entire New Year’s special—one intro class, one day of climbing, a two-week membership and a free Nuschool class, gear included—is only $58, normally a $115+ value! With five-and-a-half hours of instruction, climbers will not find a better chance to leap headfirst into the world of rock climbing. Holiday Hours!

Due to the upcoming holiday we will be closing early on Saturday, December 31^st, 2011. Our hours of operations that day will be from 10am to 6pm. We will reopen New Year’s Day from 12pm to 6pm (Intro Lesson and 10:30-12:30 Kids Climb are cancelled).

Responsibilities:

Greeting customers and members with a friendly, warm, and welcoming demeanor
Answering phone calls and emails
Assisting customers with booking reservations
Selling programs and classes
Doing belay/safety checks
Helping customers properly fit harnesses and climbing shoes
Keeping the gym clean and working properly

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills
Must have customer service experience
Friendly, warm, and patient personality able to work as part of a team and help customers who have no understanding or experience with climbing

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to pass background check
Legally able to work in the United States
Access to a vehicle
Knowledge of climbing and how to properly belay, greatly preferred

Extra Kid’s Climb Classes Added for Christmas Break!

Christmas break is no vacation! Keeping your kids cooped up in the house all week will drive you crazy, so keep them occupied and active with our Kid’s Climb Classes! From Monday, December 26th, 2011 through Friday, December 30th, 2011, we’ve added an extra Kid’s Climb Class from 1:00PM to 3:00PM (in addition to our regular 3:30PM and 5:30PM Kid’s Climb Classes).

During each class, an experienced instructor will be available to belay your child and encourage them to challenge themselves in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Call (781) 935-7325 to sign-up in advance and save a spot!

There is a limit of 16 kids per session, ages 5-12. Each session is $25 per child.
